Readers help make this site. Here you can:
- suggest a person who isn’t in the catalogue yet: give us the name, a few sentences on why they matter, and sources if you have them;
- report a mistake or inaccuracy in a profile: tell us whose profile, what is wrong and, ideally, a source with the correct information;
- offer a photo or other addition, for example a portrait you can allow us to use;
- join the team: the project is run by enthusiasts, and we need people to research and check facts, write, translate, find photos, run our social pages, draw, or write code. Tell us what interests you and how much time you have. Other ways to help are on the Support the project page.
We read every message. New people have to meet our selection criteria, and facts have to be backed by reliable sources; we check corrections against sources before changing a profile. New people are added in batches - you can see them on the New people page.
